AIR QUALITY AWARENESS WEEK: THE IMPORTANCE OF MAINTAINING AIR QUALITY INSIDE THE HOME

Every year, one week in April is celebrated as AIR QUALITY AWARENESS WEEK. Not only outside the house, poor air inside the house can also cause various health problems. Understanding and controlling air quality indoors can help reduce your risk of indoor health concerns. Health effects from indoor air pollutants may be experienced soon after exposure or years later. So a technology is needed to create healthy air in the room.

One of the weeks in April is observed as “Air Quality Awareness Week”. This aims to increase public knowledge and awareness of the impact of pollution and the efforts that can be made to improve air quality.

Not only outside the house, poor air inside the house can also cause various health problems. Usually indoor air quality problems only cause discomfort. Most people feel better as soon as they remove the source of the pollution. However, poor indoor air quality also has been linked to lung diseases like asthma, COPD and lung cancer. It has also been linked to increased risk of heart disease and stroke.

Poor air quality in the house can be caused by pollution from outside the house or from objects in the house that we are not aware of as a breeding ground for germs. Especially in a closed room without ventilation at home, this place will of course be a place where dust, bacteria, fungi and viruses will continue to be in the room and multiply so that it pollutes the air and reduces its quality.

This will be dangerous for the health of family members at home, especially children and babies who are mostly in the house. According to statistics, most people (especially in urban areas) spend about 90% of their activity time in closed spaces to work, study, rest, etc. In conditions like this, a technology is needed to create healthy air in the room.

OXIRA is a tool that serves to clean the air in the room. OXIRA will suck the air in the room and then the air that contains these microorganisms will be passed into UV light so that UV rays will damage the DNA/RNA of viruses, bacteria and infectious fungi, then limit their ability to grow and reproduce.

What makes OXIRA different from other products on the market is, OXIRA has UVGI lamps. According to the journal Inactivation of Virus-Containing Aerosols by Ultraviolet Germicidal Irradiation, UVGI (Ultraviolet Germicidal Irradiation) is scientifically proven to be effective & efficient for inactivating airborne viruses. Microorganisms in the air are more susceptible to damage from UV exposure.

Features UV lamps belonging to the "highest purity quartz" category produced by Heraues GmbH Germany, which is the largest global manufacturer of ultraviolet lamps, providing benefits in the form of UV rays with wavelengths of 254 nm and 185 nm, which function optimally to clean the air in a closed room to be free of infectious microorganisms & produce ozone constantly and lasts according to the manufacturer's evaluation for 15.000 hours (equivalent to 20 months with 24 hours/day usage).

Then the suction & blowing fan of export quality combined with an ultraviolet lamp is in accordance with the theoretical basis of exposure time and has high durability, with a quiet sound. OXIRA is designed to imitate nature, operates quietly, efficiently and without the use of chemicals and OXIRA is also recommended for use indoors.

A home that has good air quality can support the health of you and your family. Therefore, it is important to always maintain the air quality in the house.
